This right here is the BMW M4 drawing in a baby blue color with a "WE CAN GO M FOR M" text background. You see, this is not just an ordinary BMW M4, this BMW M4 was one of the original ones that once existed from 2014-2020. Now you got a whole different version of BMW in the presents day. The point is, I chose to draw the original version of BMW M4 because it gives a nostalgic feeling, reminding us of the golden era of the past that we once lived in but soon phased out of our lives. This original version of BMW M4 helped us restore and relived the past one more time to have that sense of feeling happy and stress-free again.

I started drawing BMW M4 with a pencil, I first outlined the car so that I don't end up making it appear too big or too small either. That was the first step and the outline was kind of easy along with a bit of a messed up line here and there. I then drew the wheels, honestly though, the wheel was the most challenging aspect whenever I draw cars. It's the details behind the wheels that always gets me but this time I think I did somewhat decent so I should give some credits to myself on improving on it I guess. I drew the details from the front to the back, one of my favorite parts to draw of the BMW M4 is the iconic gills and the headlight. That is always iconic in a BMW, these anatomy will always gets my attention in liking BMW especially the M4's like this one.

Next, I drew the text "WE CAN GO M FOR M." This texts is a word for word reference from a rap song called "BAND4BAND" by Central Cee & Lil Baby. Where they rap "We can go band for band, fuck that, we can go M for M." "We can go M for M" can help refer to the M in the BMW and another M in M4. The fact that there is two M's in BMW M4, I'd figure that it would actually make sense to the drawing. So I drew the text behind the vehicle. First, I drew the two M's, in which I used a ruler to draw it out in order to avoid any mistakes with the lines. For the "FOR" text, I broke some parts for both M's and put "FOR" in between the two M's. On top of two M's, I drew "WE CAN GO". "WE" is on top of the first "M", "CAN" is on top and aligned with "FOR" that is in between the two M's, and "GO" is on top of the second "M". Overall, I think the text appearance came out good to say the least.

Once finished sketching and everything, I used a black slim marker to trace out the pencil sketches and then erase the pencil sketch. One of the biggest challenge in doing that itself is running out of ink or the ink drying out. I had to use three different marker just to trace out the car and the text, but at least I got through in tracing out the whole thing though.

Next up was the coloring, the most challenging part of this drawing in opinion. I was struggling to figure out which blue color is a good shade to use both for the car and for the text. So for BMW M4, I used a sky blue, black and silver Crayola color pencils on the BMW M4. I used the silver color pencils and colored it on it's headlight, inner wheels, and license plate.  I used the black color pencils on the tires, windows, gills and other parts of the BMW. Using a black color pencils was challenging because it was difficult to shade it properly because when I try to color it, it comes out very light black so I had to shade it harder. Similarly, When I tried to use a sky blue color pencils, It came out dark so this is why you may see that some parts of the BMW M4 blue is a little dark because of my failed attempt in using a sky blue color. My intention is to make it a baby blue color, a lighter shade but the color pencils came out darker blue. So instead I used a Crayola sky blue crayon, and thankfully, it came out as the type of blue I wanted to use on my BMW M4. I think the crayon came out clean but could be better with the filling out the white spots.

For "WE CAN GO M FOR M", I used a navy blue color pencil to color it. I chose navy blue to create an "irony" and opposition since I used a light blue color on the BMW M4. I figured it would create a touching moment with a darker shade of blue and a lighter shade of blue teaming up together in a BMW M4 drawing.

In conclusion, this is the progress on how I drew a light blue BMW M4 (2014 - 2020) with "WE CAN GO M FOR M"  text background. I would say there were ups and downs with this. The glow is that the color came out clean and the alignment the structures that I chose to use and draw BMW M4 came out decent as I was expecting it to be. The grow is to have better materials when I start coloring and tracing. When I was tracing, my pens keep on drying out and it took away a lot of time from doing other steps. Another grow I should work on is my color choices, I should be very wise in choosing the right color or color materials as I almost made a mistake in my drawing. Other than that, I think the BMW M4 drawing came out clean but looking back at it, I think doing pencil sketch would have been cleaner. Overall, I would give my BMW M4 drawing a 8/10.

This BMW M4 drawing isn't  just about drawing, it's about bringing a blast from the past of an iconic era of BMW M4.
